Client Terms & Payment Policies
-
The Aperture Field provides professional services including strategic advisory, facilitation, organizational development, systems thinking and mapping, decision support, workshops, and educational programs including AI Foundations: Using AI as a Thinking Partner.
Strategic advisory and organizational engagements are typically custom-scoped. The scope, timing, deliverables, fees, currency, and payment schedule for these engagements are confirmed with the client in writing before work begins.
Open educational programs and other standardized offerings are priced on the relevant program page or registration materials.
-
Prices for open programs are displayed with the applicable currency before registration or payment.
AI Foundations open cohorts are currently priced in United States dollars (USD), shown using the symbol $ and identified as USD.
Private cohorts and strategic advisory engagements are individually scoped. Fees may be quoted in Canadian dollars (CAD) or United States dollars (USD), and the applicable currency is clearly identified in the proposal, agreement, invoice, and/or payment request before payment is made.
Applicable taxes, where required, will be identified separately.
-
No strategic advisory engagement begins solely through payment on this website.
Prospective clients first submit an inquiry or contact The Aperture Field. Where there is a mutual fit, the scope of work, fees, timing, and any engagement-specific terms are agreed before payment is requested.
Payment may be made by bank transfer or through an electronic payment request or invoice provided by an approved payment processor.
By accepting a proposal, registering for a program, or making payment after receiving these terms, the client acknowledges the applicable service description, payment terms, cancellation policy, and refund policy.
-
The Aperture Field primarily provides professional and educational services rather than physical products. There are therefore no shipping or physical delivery requirements unless expressly stated for a particular engagement.
Services may be delivered virtually, in person, or through a combination of meetings, workshops, facilitated sessions, written materials, analysis, and other agreed work.
Timing and delivery arrangements for strategic advisory work are established in the applicable proposal or agreement.
Dates and delivery details for educational programs are provided on the relevant program page or registration materials.
-
Strategic Advisory and Custom Engagements
Cancellation and termination provisions contained in an accepted proposal, agreement, or statement of work take precedence.
Where no separate cancellation provision exists, a client may cancel future work by notifying The Aperture Field in writing. Any refund will be limited to amounts paid for work that has not yet been performed, less fees for work already completed and any non-recoverable expenses or commitments incurred specifically for the engagement.
Amounts relating to services already delivered are non-refundable.
Open Courses and Cohort Programs
A participant may cancel before the first scheduled session and request a refund of fees paid.
Once a cohort or program has begun, fees are generally non-refundable because the program capacity has been reserved and delivery has commenced. Where circumstances prevent participation, The Aperture Field may, at its discretion, offer transfer to a future cohort in place of a refund.
If The Aperture Field cancels a program and does not provide a suitable alternative, affected participants will receive a refund of fees paid for the cancelled program.
Private Cohorts, Workshops, and Events
Cancellation terms for private cohorts, facilitated workshops, retreats, and other client-specific events will normally be stated in the applicable proposal or agreement.
Where no specific terms are stated, refunds will reflect work already performed and any non-recoverable costs or commitments incurred in preparing for delivery.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds for payments originally made by card will be returned to the original payment method wherever required or supported by the payment provider.
Processing times after a refund is issued are controlled by the payment provider and the customer's financial institution.
-
The Aperture Field does not collect or store full credit card numbers, card security codes, or other sensitive card authentication information on this website.
Where card payment is offered, payment information is entered directly into the secure payment environment of the payment service provider processing the transaction. The Aperture Field receives transaction information needed to identify and administer the payment, but not the customer's complete card credentials.
The Aperture Field currently uses Wise for eligible electronic payment and card-processing services. Wise maintains its own security, privacy, and payment-processing controls for information submitted through its payment environment.
-
Personal information collected through inquiries, engagements, program registration, and payment administration is handled in accordance with The Aperture Field's Privacy Policy.
Payment providers may separately collect and process information required to complete a transaction under their own privacy and security policies.
-
Strategic advisory, facilitation, education, and related services are intended to support thinking, decision-making, organizational development, and learning. Because outcomes depend on many factors outside The Aperture Field's control, no specific organizational, commercial, financial, or other result is guaranteed unless expressly agreed in writing.
-
Where The Aperture Field and a client enter into a separate written proposal, contract, statement of work, or other agreement, the terms of that agreement govern that engagement if they differ from these general terms.
